This is a Single Crochet (SC) graphghan pattern worked from a graph and written row-by-row color instructions. The design measures 125 stitches × 150 rows and uses 3 colors: Light Pink, Pink, and Black.
Finished size using my standard gauges:
• #3 yarn + 3 mm hook: approx. 20” × 32” (51 × 80 cm) – a lovely rectangular pillow/cushion size.
• #4 yarn + 4 mm hook: approx. 42” × 40” (106 × 102 cm) – a cozy rectangular blanket size.
Standard Gauge #3: 4” × 4” = 25 stitches × 19 rows with #3 yarn and 3 mm hook.
Standard Gauge #4: 4” × 4” = 12 stitches × 15 rows with #4 yarn and 4 mm hook.
Because this pattern is 150 stitches/rows or smaller, it works beautifully as either a pillow using #3 yarn or a blanket using #4 yarn.
Approximate yardage needed (you will need more because you pull your yarn all the way through the project):
• Light Pink: ~698 m / 764 yd (5 × 50 g skeins) + approx. 825 m / 902 yd (6 × 50 g skeins) for the backside of the pillow
• Pink: ~80 m / 87 yd (1 × 50 g skein)
• Black: ~46 m / 51 yd (1 × 50 g skein)
