Finished size using my standard gauges:
- #3 yarn + 3 mm hook: approx. 19.2 Γ 25.3 in (49 Γ 64 cm) β a lovely size for a rectangular pillow.
- #4 yarn + 4 mm hook: approx. 40 Γ 32 in (102 Γ 81 cm) β suitable for a blanket. The design can be rotated depending on your preferred orientation.
Standard gauges used for these estimates:
#3 yarn: 25 stitches Γ 19 rows = 4 Γ 4 in
#4 yarn: 12 stitches Γ 15 rows = 4 Γ 4 in
Approximate yardage needed:
Please allow extra yarn because yarn is carried/pulled through the project.
- Light Pink: ~435 m = 476 yd (about 3 Γ 50 g skeins), plus ~679 m = 743 yd (about 6 Γ 50 g skeins) for the backside of the pillow
- Pink: ~21 m = 25 yd (about 1 Γ 50 g skein)
- Black: ~242 m = 265 yd (about 2 Γ 50 g skeins)
