Finished Size
Using my standard gauges:
- #3 yarn + 3 mm hook: approximately 19" × 30" (49 × 76 cm). This size works well for a large rectangular pillow.
- #4 yarn + 4 mm hook: approximately 40" × 38" (102 × 96 cm). This size works well as a blanket.
Your finished measurements can vary depending on yarn, hook, personal tension and blocking.
Approximate Yardage Needed
You will need additional yarn because the unused color is carried through the work.
- Green: ~595 m = 651 yd (4 × 50 g skeins) + approximately 825 m = 902 yd (6 × 50 g skeins) for the backside of the pillow
- Black: ~231 m = 253 yd (2 × 50 g skeins)
