Finished size using my standard gauge
-
#3 yarn: approximately 21” × 29.5” (53 × 75 cm), based on 25 stitches × 19 rows = 4” × 4” with a 3 mm hook. This size works well for a rectangular pillow front.
-
#4 yarn: approximately 43.3” × 37.3” (110 × 95 cm), based on 12 stitches × 15 rows = 4” × 4” with a 4 mm hook. This makes a cozy small blanket/throw.
Finished size may vary depending on your personal tension, yarn, hook size, and crochet style.
Approximate yardage needed
-
Blue: ~399 m = 436 yd (in my case 3 × 50 g skeins) + for the backside of the pillow ~810 m = 886 yd (6 × 50 g skeins)
-
White: ~22 m = 24 yd (1 × 50 g skein)
-
Black: ~187 m = 204 yd (2 × 50 g skeins)
-
Red: ~156 m = 171 yd (2 × 50 g skeins)
-
Green: ~36 m = 40 yd (1 × 50 g skein)
Please note: You will need additional yarn because the unused color is carried/pulled through the project while working the graphgan.
Because this design is under 150 × 150 stitches, you can use #3 yarn for a pillow or #4 yarn for a blanket.
