Approximate finished size using my standard gauge:
-
#3 yarn + 3 mm hook: approx. 16” × 32” (41 × 80 cm) — suitable for a rectangular pillow front
-
#4 yarn + 4 mm hook: approx. 33” × 40” (85 × 102 cm) — suitable for a blanket
Because this design is 150 stitches/rows or smaller on one side, it can work beautifully as either a pillow or blanket pattern, depending on yarn weight and gauge.
Approximate yardage needed (you will need more because yarn is carried/pulled through the project):
- Purple: ~403 m / 441 yd (3 × 50 g skeins) + approx. 660 m / 722 yd (5 × 50 g skeins) for the backside of the pillow
- Black: ~147 m / 161 yd (1 × 50 g skein)
- White: ~123 m / 135 yd (1 × 50 g skein)
